AUDITION INFORMATION
Audition deadline is June 1. This is a firm deadline. The committee will meet June 2 to assign chamber and orchestra placements; students who have not submitted their auditions by June 1 will not be placed into groups for the festival and may forfeit their space.
All students must prepare the following:
Students of orchestral instruments should also prepare the excerpt(s) for their instruments below. Each instrument has 3 excerpts listed in order from least advanced to most advanced. Students should prepare one or more excerpts as they are able, in sequential order (for example, students may submit excerpts 1 only; 1 and 2; or 1, 2, and 3; but please do not submit 1 and 3, skipping over 2).
All students must prepare the following:
- Two contrasting solos or etudes (lyrical and technical) totaling no more than 5 minutes
- Choice of major scales: as many as possible up to four flats and four sharps, as many octaves as possible

Your audition recording may contain video if you like, but only audio is required. The Embark application accepts most major file types, including avi, m4v, mov, mp4, mpeg, mpg, vob, wmv, mkv, mp3, m4a, aiff, wma, wav, and aac.
